This has been an
amazing year:
*Riding the first colt out of Firewater Fiesta--Go Figure Fiesta,
"Popsicle" has been a trying year but rewarding.
*Winning over $50,000 in
the 4 yr. old barrel racing futurities, his plans are not complete.
*My brother, JD will qualify him in the AQHA in the junior heading and
healing.
*PRCA rodeos were good to me as well, riding Flyin Hi Firewater
and IC Elegance, at limited rodeos, both horses were very competitive and
successful.
2008
*Another clinic in Brazil in
January
*Traveling lightly, experiencing young horses to the rodeo
world, starting my Fiesta colt, and completing my new home in Pueblo,
CO.
*This kept me busy, also trying to keep up with my nephew and his
schedule.
*I sold Firewaters Hope to a extremely talented rider in July to
Brooke Catalini.
2007
What a year this was:
*My father had a horse
accident, I ran back and forth from Ft. Worth to Dallas for surgery
*Also helped my nephew at his first AQHA Youth World Show
*My
mother was fighting Rheumatoid Arthritis
*Went to a small number of 4-D
jackpots and rodeos
*Began building my new home in
Pueblo
*Ended the year on Flyin Hi Firewater a 4 yr. old
futurity horse, in December, with a big pay check and icing on the
cake.
2006
*Firewaters Hope came into my life; 6 yr. old mare that changed my
life
*WPRA standings 23rd: limited hauling at $33,ooo +
*Brazil Clinic and Vacation
*Mighty Awesome Fella 4 yr. old
futurity horse that I raised, now owned by Carol Gipson, opened
eyes. He fits his name!!!
